You'll see a tennis court from a top-down perspective. Your player is at the bottom of the screen, and your opponent is at the top. The ball moves back and forth, and your job is to position your racket to return every shot while aiming for spots your opponent can't reach.
On desktop, click and drag your mouse to move the racket left and right. On mobile devices, tap and drag your finger across the screen. The racket follows your input in real-time, so smooth, deliberate movements give you the best control over your shots.
When the ball reaches your side of the court, position your racket to intercept it. The angle and speed of your racket movement determine where the ball goes. Successfully returning the ball earns you rally points, and winning rallies scores match points that increase your leaderboard rank.
Each match consists of multiple rallies. Win more rallies than your opponent to claim victory. Winning matches earns you ranking points, and consecutive wins multiply your score. The higher your rank, the tougher your opponents become — pushing you to sharpen your skills.
Stay in the center of the court between shots. This gives you the best chance of reaching balls on either side and reduces the distance you need to move your racket.
Don't rush your swings. Wait until the ball is close to your racket before making contact. Early swings often result in weak, mis-aimed returns that your opponent can easily punish.
Vary your shots between left and right sides. If you keep hitting to the same corner, your opponent will anticipate your moves. Mix it up to keep them guessing and off-balance.
Use the speed of your drag to control shot power. A quick flick sends a powerful drive to the back of the court, while a slow drag creates a softer shot that drops just over the net.
Don't panic after losing a point. Each rally is a fresh start. Stay calm, read your opponent's patterns, and wait for the right moment to strike with a winning shot.
Consecutive wins earn bonus multipliers. If you're on a winning streak, play carefully — maintaining your streak is worth far more points than taking risky shots.
You've learned the basics — now it's time to put your skills to the test. Jump into Tennis Dash and start winning!
